Unverified community reports
This article tracks unconfirmed claims only. Rockstar and Take-Two have not named CyberLeek in a public press release. GTA VI NEWS (@_GTAVI_) said CyberLeek could have been captured but noted they were still waiting for confirmation. Treat every detail below as community speculation until official filings or statements appear.
Reported cash-out claims
Michael @LegacyKillaHD posted that CyberLeek has apparently begun cashing out and that things are coming to an end. He cited a GTA Forums user called Vice Cit who tracked crypto wallets tied to the leak wave. The post claimed $265k plus in transaction fees were withdrawn and sent to various wallets, with indication at least two people could be involved. Dexerto separately reported that CyberLeek appears to be cashing out over $250,000 from the ongoing GTA 6 leak wave, citing GTA Forums poster Vice Cit and crypto wallet activity ahead of the Netflix Extended Look.
Take-Two legal pressure
Take-Two filed subpoenas targeting Microsoft and Discord alongside copyright takedowns on August 2026 clips. Legal pressure ran parallel to these unverified cash-out reports. None of the public subpoena filings we track name CyberLeek directly.
Why leak interest faded
Regardless of leaker status, community accounts declared the CyberLeek era over after Rockstar's August 27 Extended Look premiere delivered 26 minutes of authorized gameplay. CyberLeek did not post new major clips after August 25 according to our leaks timeline.
